My new dog, Sonic

Kind of got Sonic by accident...a woman I had helped set up a doxiefest in her neighborhood and made costumes for contacted me about a dog. I told her I couldn't afford to buy a dog but that I had lost Owen recently. She had started out to show and breed but became quickly disillusioned with the AKC world.... and could not bring herself to sell any of her pups to breeders. so she had too many dogs...
So long story short, she not only gave me Sonic but had him neutered and delivered him to me!
He is a cute cute boy. had not had a lot of socialization and is a bit timid. he bonded to me very quickly though and is quite the mama's boy. Been clicker training and now that he has learned how to learn, things are going well with that. Doing a bit of agility training but I am sooo busy teaching I am neglecting that...gotta figure out how to remedy that situation...
anyway, here's the boy.

Ok, so that worked.
here are some more. he's a little boy. 7 pounds. he'll be two in may. he's super skinny..I've gotten a bit of weight on him and he eats 3 times what Salsa and Segue eat.

He is very little. it's so funny...all her dogs look pretty much the same..all are that color. the only difference is two of them are fat and all the rest are skinny. some have a harder coat (he's pretty soft) and one is a pie. which was a surprise I guess. the pie is adorable. and there is a twin to Sonic...a girl named Pebbles (she let her grandson name the dogs. I'm glad the name Sonic is kinda cute)
