View Full Version : Buddy's neck is weird (again)

Buddy's neck is acting up. Uh-oh. Dunno what happened? Maybe too much exuberance at the monthly meetup?
He's favoring his neck, and he's quietly yelped a few times when petting his head. And his head motion is guarded.
We've seen this before. So he's now wearing Amy's neck brace 24/7, again. Also gave him Rimadyl, leftover from his last time.
No need to crate him, since he's so calm & quiet, all on his own. Poor little guy.

Oh no!! Sending Buddy some neck healing rayz. :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz:

Maybe call your vet, just so he/she can update Buddy's file. I know you have a DLC record :) But if your vet is reviewing stuff with you, a date reference might be helpful.

Awwww, crap! :sosad:

Lots of rayz for your sweet, calm dog :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz:

Lol at "DLC Record." My girls' history is very well-documented on here, and I often look back at old threads to see what we tried, the outcome, and the time line :)

Poor little guy. They are cooped up all winter and as soon as it warms up they get out and over do it! :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: I hope the neck brace and Rimidyl do the trick.

The Rimadyl & collar are working. He's more animated tonight. That's goodness, but he's not exactly himself yet. We'll probably continue this regimen for at least a week or two. Atm, he's snoozing on the sofa, next to mama.

Thanks to YOU, Amy, for the collar that you built, 3 yrs ago. He has needed it a few times, and we're grateful to you for it. :)
