You see I've wanted a Lhasa Apso for a long time but then I saw a photo of Beckie's Rella and fell hard so I got Dudley instead. Well before I got into dachshund rescue I finally found a breeder and thought I was all set to get a puppy, that was last fall. I haven't heard from them so I moved on and now my local shelter has this little girl. :faint: She is 5 months old, was found as a stray and is sooooo coming to live with me. I saw her the day my parents lost their Emily and if it hadn't been so soon they would've adopted her. But any way here she is ... a dirty mess (she likes to play in her water bowl).

Anastasia is going to need a new name so everyone put on their thinking caps!

She is all puppy. She's playful, loves to give kisses and is a wiggle worm. I'm picking her up tomorrow so I'll post more photos (she'll be cleaned up and have a nice new fur-do). I'm so excited I can't hardly wait until tomorrow. :)
