:cheer2:   :angel7:

I am so excited, but so nervous! He will be staying with us for one week. He didn't work out in the home he was in, so he is being transported next Saturday to a new, and hopefully, forever home. I will have lots of pics I am sure.

Great way to start fostering !!!!! A week will be long enough for you to get a feel for it and not long enough for you to get "too" attached.:rotfl: :rotfl: I still have my first foster....:hearts: :hearts: :hearts: It really is a great experience.

Okay..

Rule #1

photos are NOT OPTIONAL. You can't foster unless you show us the pup :)

Congratulations Jill....fostering is a great service w/o foster families we wouldn't be able to rescue dogs...most of our doxies are in foster for over a month. Patience can't be stressed enough and try not to have ANY expectations.... Are your 2 puppers rescues? Good luck and congratulations again....you are doing a wonderful thing :hearts:
If I can lend any advice please let me know..

Congratulations, Jill, and :thankyou:for becoing a foster home. Like Cat said, the importance of fosters to rescues just can't be overstated!!! Up here right now it's absolutely raining dogs...we've taken in more in the last two weeks than at any other time in the entire history of CDR, and are in danger of running out of foster homes to place them in!!! So good on you! And good luck with your first little guy! :hearts: :hearts: :angel7: !!!

Jill,

Thanks for steping up to the plate and fostering -- even for just a week.

I will admit I did not fail fostering 101 or 102 but, 103 and 104 yep I did.

:hug99: :hug99: :hug99: Jill! That's wonderful! If I didn't have the world's most antisocial (to dogs) dog, I'd love to be able to foster!

We MUST have pics!
