So this morning I decided to take some dogs on a walk. I figured, I can ride a horse with double reins, so surely I can hold four leashes at once. So I took Napoleon, Blevins, Clyde and Milo. Thor stayed home because he needs a lot more work on being NICE on walks, and Bonnie doesn't have crazy energy like the boys.
Well, it went GREAT! I mean I used my calm assertive energy and everyone walked sooo nicely. They really enjoyed the walk I think. No one pulled me, no one got tangled...I was so pleasantly surprised....I even thought about going home and getting the skateboard and having them pull me around like Cesar does....

YEAH RIGHT!! :rotfl: I did take those 4 dogs on a walk, and for the most part it was uneventful, but oh man there was some tangling going on. Things were mostly fine when we were going straight, but when we had to turn, forget it. Blevins was calm and didn't pull and I could just bump him where I needed to be with my hip. Clyde and Po weren't bad either, except when we saw two small children (strangely sitting outside their house alone) and Po went nuts. But Milo, oh Milo. He was like a drunk driver swerving across lanes of traffic. The leash went under the Great Dane, in front of the Great Dane, behind the Great Dane... :rotfl: But we did all make it back home and I would do it again. I never really felt out of control except the tangling, and luckily our neighborhood is quiet with dead end and one-way streets except for one that we don't have to stay on too long. So I could just stop them and regroup. On the way home we saw a couple neighbors. One was like, wow are those all yours!? And another had the wiener dogs get tangled around his legs while he was petting Blevins and telling me about his two Danes! Then he said "it is so nice of them to take you on a walk!" I am a dummy and didn't really introduce myself but I did say Blevins was my foster for Dane Rescue. Hopefully I will see him again.
I just thought I would share...I need to do walks with the dogs daily so I hope this can become more of a regular thing!
