Wow, a brave/crazy owner and a lucky dog indeed! I might have done the same though--when your baby is about to be killed, forget caution!

Couldn't have been too small a gator, that was not a small puppy....saw him on tv today. He is recovering nicely, has a few dents in him still.

I couldn't do that, would drown, but probably would not have the kids near water this time of the year, either.

That is one lucky and well loved pupper.

Wow....I think that we do forget caution when our dogs are in danger....just like our kids....:hearts:

I believe I would have thrown caution to the wind too if a gator took one of my pups! Though I agree, I would not let me dog off a leash near a pond with alligators! That is reckless!

I once ran out in front of a car trying to get a dog that had gotten loose. Almost got killed for a dog I didn't know, so yeah I'd probably have jumped in. What does that say about my common sense?

I'm glad that pupper and owner were both okay. :cheer2: :cheer2:
