They are on frontline too, but a flea jumped off of Ollie and they are itching like crazy!

Is there anything home remedy wise that I can whip up or ingredients that can be had at a store that is open late (like a wal-mart...not biospot - but food items that can be combined)

I read about garlic, but as a preventative...i don't know once they have it.

We are picking up our foster dog tonight and this SO CANNOT BE HAPPENING!

Well, the best bet is Capstar, but you have to get that at the vet. You could try diatomaceous earth - dust it in the carpet, bedding, and on the dogs then wipe or brush it out. You can get that at a feed store.

what you can do is bathe your dogs, but leave the shampoo on and let the dog stand for 10 minutes. That will kill any fleas on them too.

I second the suggestion of Capstar. It works within 30 mins and is residue free. Personally I think garlic is a waste but some swear by it.

No foster dog :( boo hoo

Not because of fleas...different story.

They seem to not be bothered as much at all..maybe it was one or two fleas frustrated by the frontline but we'll do some treating on it anyhow,.
