Playing Hard to Get

Today at lunch, Petey was very very excited to see me...every day it just moves me how happy one little guy can be to see his Mom :angel7: So after I ate, I sat down in the recliner to relax before heading back to work, and Petey prances up to me...I bend over to take him, and he jumps back out of reach...tail wagging furiously. I called him to me...he jumped back again...he so wanted to play the "Get Me" game, but I was just too lazy to get up. So I said "Fine...I didn't want to hold you anyway" and sat back in the chair and crossed my arms. Petey's ears went up and his eyes got wide, and he FLEW across the living room and up into my lap, full of kisses and tail wags. :rotfl: :rotfl: It was so comical seeing him thinking "Oh man, I better get up there if I'm gonna get my lunchtime Mommy lovins!!" Shhhh....don't tell Petey, but I was about to get up and TAKE my Petey lovins :hug99:

I get to go home for lunch...the doggies are the only thing that make spending double the gasoline worth it! Julie used to play hard to get, but now Jax just takes any spot near me that Julie leaves open......so she's left sittin' there like "hey what happened here?"
