GDRNT fundraiser

We had a fundraiser for GDRNT today at my favorite bar in Dallas, Lee Harvey's. It was very successful even though it was HOT and humid, which is good because I was one of the main organizers! We raised $682! Anyway, I brought Napoleon, Milo and Bonnie to hang out and I thought you guys would enjoy some pics...

That was a 10-month-old Irish Wolfhound. 140 lbs and no lie the biggest dog I have ever seen.

My friend Jen wants Milo but says her husband would divorce her! She was going to take him home overnight and just tell him she adopted him and see what he said...but she changed her mind, haha.

Wow, wonderful dogs--danes, doxies, wolfhounds. Too cool! Agree that the tip apron is a great idea--maybe bills only for doxies as change would get too heavy? ;)

The pictures are all so cute! I wondered who was poking Piper in that picture...hee hee! Was she not wanting her picture taken? Everyone kept messing with her and wanting to hold her all afternoon. I'm sure she had enough. I don't know if you noticed, but I never put her dress on her and put up the "Kisses $1" sign. Oh well! We raised a lot! Tex raised over $20 in his vest. He was so sick of wearing it though by the end of the day. I really think we need to get one to fit Po/Piper, so they can wear it at events also. Those 2 get so much attention that I think people would easily give them money!

Pound-wise, I think Chrystyna's Danes who are raw-fed eat 2 lbs a day. Blevins eats 5-6 cups of kibble a day.

And yes, I loved that Wolfhound. He was gorgeous. He is an aspiring show dog!

Yeah, Lola eats 2 lbs and Tex eats 2.25 lbs.
