I went with mommy down to the corner of our property where her pets who have gone to the bridge are buried and lo and behold there were two baby deers in the thicket. I went right in and kessed one of them. It just laid there and sniffed me back. The other one was sniffing me too. Mommy was so shocked she didn't pull me back right away so I got to check them out good. We went down to pull weed on the graves but since the baby deer were there mommy didn't stick around so we will have to pull weeds later. But I got to kiss a baby deer and that was pretty cool. Dumb old mommy didn't have a camera either. She thought about going back down and taking a picture but she was afraid to bother them too awful much so she hasn't yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh how neat! We had a set of twins that we saw every afternoon for several days that would come out and eat . Mama was always right behind them in the tree line watching. PLEASE be careful! Mommy's can be very nasty if they think you are hurting their babies.
WIsh I could have been there to see them! That is soooo sweeeettt!!!!

Are you sure they weren't just tasting it to see if they liked venison?:rotfl:

That really is sweet. One of those sights you just have to hold in your heart, it makes it vivid and alive to each of us you share it with.
