Okay, I've spent the last two evenings decorating the tree and the house for our dinner group's progressive dinner this weekend. I thought I'd show you the dachshund part of the decorations.

This the my dachsie wreath on the door.

I'm not going to show you the Car Village or the Harley Village that I also set up or the Santa in the dining room. Decorating has sort of gotten out of hand here lately.

you were decorating dachshunds, or decorating WITH dachshunds (either would be wonderful!). Your decorations are spectacular!! I think I need a set of Reindox!!

I had to wait until I got to work today to look at this post. I have slow dial up at home. It was worth the wait.

I think the very last pciture of the pups looking out the door is awesome. It needs to be on a calandar.

do you remember where you got the christmas light outside?

I got this one locally. I can't remember the name of the place. He had a booth at dog show. But this year the In The Company of Dogs catalog had one. It was black, not white wire. I actually ordered one last summer to put on the back deck. We live on the golf course and that way people could see it from the course. But then we got Scooter and I"m afraid to put the one out on the deck because everything out there turns into a Scooter toy!

We will all be over about 6:00 for the progressive dinner, ok? I'll bring some wine. In fact, we can just sit in your gorgeous house and drink wine and keep an eye on your lovely dogs while you progress to the dinner, if you prefer.

Okay, Kim. The salad will be at my house at about 4:00 (we have to start early because we spend an hour and a half or so at each house and since it's Sunday we want to be done fairly early). The dogs will be happy to have you.

Ok I really only have one thing to say - :holyshp: Scooter is HUGE!!! I had no idea he was THAT big!!

:holyshp: is right! He's probably between 35 and 40 lbs now. The DH doesn't call him the world's biggest dachshund for nothing!
