Irma, those with the ruffled skirts are the best ever. I may have to suck it up and get the pattern and make Duchie some. Your kids (especially Petunia) are always styling... you are so talented and patient...

Rae you can make them for about 10 dollars a piece if you have some of the stuff at home. I also have a place on the net where you can buy the D-Ring and Buckle in bulk. I just add a lot of extra touches that you realy can't get when you buy them. I'm making Gunner a camo one-wait till you see it.

I might eventualy open a doggy boutique when I retire--its a possibility down the road. I have a million ideas. A fiend of mine has thought about opening a dog grooming store and I would go in there with her--have part of the store as a boutique.

I think I may start out with my hug a dox and make a pattern from that and start the "embellishing" from there. Duchie is not a puller and we rarely use a leash since I usually carry Her highness, so hers would probably be more fashion than function.

we'll see. am thinking this winter will be the winter I burn up the Singer!

llet's hope " a little" is right. I got my grandam's old singer when she died and I remember her sewing on it all the time... it makes me feel close to her when I sew (silly I guess) except I don't seem to recall her sewing while drinking a beer and cussing when she had to rip something out and try again.

I mentioned that to my mom and she said she never sewed like that either but looking back it might have been a really, really grand idea.

If you can sew a little you can make just the plain harnesses. Gunners camo is almost done.
