I made these treats for my dogs over the weekend and they went crazy for them. Super simple and wonderful of the puppers that are a little short in the tooth department.
Baby Food Soft Doggie Cookies
3 2 1/2 oz. jars of baby food: either beef, chicken or turkey or veal
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1/4 cup wheat germ
Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Roll into small balls and place on a well-greased cookie sheet (or you can just drop them with a spoon onto the sheet). Flatten slightly with a fork. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 15 minutes or until brown. Cool on wire racks and STORE IN REFRIGERATOR... also freezes well. Note: cream of wheat can be substituted for the wheat germ.
Cookies are soft and chewy
