I read before about not putting Advantage (I believe it was) on before 24 hrs after a bath. Does this go for ALL flea/tick medications? It's time for Molly's bath (stinky shoo-wee) but she also needs her Frontline for this month, should I wait 24 hrs for this too? Or can I give her bath tonight and Frontline her tomorrow? I wasn't sure if the Advantage had something different in it or not.... Thanks!
I think it's always better to wait 24 hrs after bath, just to be sure. I use Advantage. I found this info on Frontline I hope it helps. :)
"Do not apply 1-2 days before or after bathing as the natural body oils that help the drug spread will be temporarily removed with bathing. Apply once a month for continual protection from ticks. If in an area with few fleas and no ticks, Frontline may be applied every 2-3 months for flea protection". See the following link.
