I posted this in the intimate post, but I wanted to know what his behavior signifies, so I'm cross posting in Bad Dog?

When Paul and I were in the middle of marital relations, Mr. B came over and dropped a bird by us (which I take to mean, "Play with me instead.")

Not getting a response, he then grabbed onto my arm and humped my arm.

Was this also for attention, or was he trying to, um, compete for dominance of the pack over Paul? (Paul thinks the bird was a trade off for his woman- hee hee.)

I'm just wondering, because Butters is usually so laid back and never really shows outward submissive or alpha behavior. If he does, it's subtle and I don't notice.

Butters wanted your complete attention. I sense a little jealousy! I couldn't help but laugh. I was trying not to get a visual! Oh Butters! :rotfl:

which brings us to the question DID Paul trade you for the bird?
:rotfl:

and further, isn't the bird Butters' fave toy? So he must prize you highly.
