Guy gets 10 minths in jail
Unfortunately it is local news for us. An owner left a dog in care of her co-worker (both worked at a vet office), who asked her ex-husband to watch the dogs. Dachshund Athena was beaten and killed by that *******. They had surveillance footage showing him chasing and beating the dog, carrying it by the neck and kicking it. And his attorney played a veteran card. Prosecution wanted 44 months in jail. He got 10 months, 36 months probation and mandatory drug, anger, and mental help. Poor pup and his owner. Athena was a beautiful piebald. :sosad:
