Darby's Getting a New Buddy - Updated post #5

I was going to wait a bit before adopting another dog but the other day when I gave Darby a bone to chew, he just sat down and looked at it and then laid down beside it. Darby LOVES bones! It was just so sad that I decided Darby needed a new buddy now. So after much looking at the DREAM dogs and lots of discussion and emailing back and forth, we have decided on Beau Berlin. I really like Mary Maraca but she is going to a home on a trial basis on Monday. With Cash being almost 18 now, I told them that if Mary's adoption falls thru to let me know and I may just take her also. I'm waiting now to see when we can bring Beau home :cheer3::cheer3:

I really like Marvin Gaye, but they said that he freaks out in the crate and I'd really like to be able to crate whatever dog I get when I go to work.

Oh my heart, Patrice. Darn onions....Heidi is missing Ferk badly so I totally get it. Beau is gorgeous. Such soulful eyes!!! He'll fit in so well. And no wonder you love Mary...she looks like a certain newly minted :angel:. Can't wait to hear how it goes. Best way to honour those who leave us is to give another one a home. :hug99::hug99::hug99:

Oh, they are both wonderful. I am secretly out loud hoping you end up with both (I can't resist her smudgey-looking little black muzzle... yes, very familiar somehow).

Beau (or Blue as his foster mom calls him) is coming tomorrow! :cheer3::cheer3: I can hardly wait to meet him! Darby's gonna have a buddy!

Mary has a potential adopter. They are doing a meet and greet on Monday and she's going home with them for a trial period. I told them if the adoption doesn't work out, I'd be interested in her, too.
