Nashville Weiner Romp
The Nashville Weiner Romp is an annual summer time event held at Centennial park for all Weiner dogs and their owners. This is totally free to attend, starts the second Sunday in March and continues the second Sunday of every month through til August. Princess and I would love to see you there :)

Tanya, this sounds like something for you! I'm not sure how close Tracy is to Nashville, but she might be interested, too.

Of course I'd love to see Tracy too but her rock in Tennessee is a bit of a haul.

I wanna go to a wiener romp :sosad:

Me too. :( I wish we had something like that in Dallas. I did find dachtoberfest close by. It is part of the octoberfest celebration and they have a doxie parade and stuff. It is in September and I can't wait to go.

Isn't Buda, tx close by to Dallas? They hold a big doxie thang each April.
-
Buda isn't really that close to Dallas. It's 15 miles south of Austin, but it's doable. I'm probably going to Buda again this year. It's a lot of fun! There used to be another group that had wiener dog races closer to Dallas but I can't remember where.
Edit: Okay, I just found it. There used to be wiener dog races in Addison. It appears that one happened in the fall around Sept. I've never been but one of our past members went and had a great time.

We used to have a dachshund fest. Now we don't :-( the closest one now is in OH and it is 3 hours away! I sure wish ours in MI came back. Miss it.

Addison isn't that far from me. Did you happen to see when it was?
