Sabrina
Sabrina was our first dachsie. She represented everything that the breed is about. She was fearless and loved to play with her toys. She didn’t know her size. Unfortunately she didn’t like Sofie and after 2 years of trying, we made a decision to regime her. Maria and Bill gave her an incredible home where she was loved and spoiled. And we got to visit and see her.
Last time I saw her a couple of months ago, she was greyer and slower. But she still had a bounce in her step when food would come out. Her liver number have been elevated for some time.
Today Maria had to help her cross over the bridge because Sabrina stopped eating and drinking and was very weak. She almost made it to her 17th birthday. RIP

I'm so sorry, Olga. It's always so hard to lose a little one. No matter that they were living with someone else, they still take a piece of your heart with them.

Oh Olga, I'm so so sorry. Heidi just turned 17 three days ago and I don't know how much longer we have together. This is so very hard. I'm glad Sabrina had such a great life, even if living with someone else. Sending a :bighug: to you. Godspeed, sweet girl. :candle: Til you meet again.
