Dr C came out today (we already had an appt scheduled). She was really surprised he was up and around and doing as well as he is. We're just taking it one day at a time and enjoying the time we have with him. He seems to be happy so that's the main thing.

I'm glad she was out. So comforting to have her see him. :bigrayz::hug99::bigrayz::hug99::bigrayz:

Scoots was very restless last night and had me up until one. I was really worried. I finally got him comfy thanks to some good drugs and got a few hours sleep. I woke at 6:45 when he collapsed again. I'm afraid Scoots isn't going to come back this time. He 's resting comfortably now but I think this is it. I've been in tears most of the day.

Aw sweetie, holding you so close right now. It's just too soon...I always felt Scootamute would go on forever. Throwing all the :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: there are at you guys. :crossfin::crossfin: that he gives you more time. :bighug:

I am so sorry Patrice. I am thinking about you both. I know you won't let him suffer, but that doesn't make this entire situation suck any less. Please keep us posted. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm so very sorry, Patrice. There is nothing like the pain of seeing your dog go through this. Our oncologist kept maintaining Angel just had neutropenia from chemo and that she had responded because the external nodes went down, but I did not think that was the case and I was correct. You and Scooter are in my thoughts and my heart.

I'm sorry Patrice. I hate it for you and Jim and Scooter. He is such a funny goofy guy. My thoughts are with you. :hug99::hug99:

Patrice, my heart breaks for you as you go through the end of life with Scooter. It never gets any easier. He knows you love him and that is the best we can ask for. Hold him, love him. Hugs

Oh Patrice - I’m so very, very sorry. Sobbing in the sandwich shop, actually.
