Darby Dog, the Great Hunter
Last night we were upstairs in the den watching TV. Both of us were on our laptops. I hear Jim say "Uh, oh!" I look up and Darby has just come to the top of the stairs with what I thought was a stuffy. It was NOT a stuffie. I was a newly dead (or almost dead) squirrel. :shocked: In my house. On my carpet. Yuck! So Jim got recruited in his capacity as dead critter disposer to take the body out to the trash. Poor Darby was sooooo disappointed. He was like "Where's my trophy?" We had to distract them with some Blue Bell cups but they both still kept looking for the squirrel. I'm hoping we dont' have a repeat today :holysheep:
