Savannah, have you been slaughtering hogs on mommy’s good couch?

Went into the living room where Savannah perches on the back of the couch to patrol her domain. Blood everywhere! Finally chilled out enough to see that it’s in small portions, there’s just a lot of them. Found a BLOODY FOOTPRINT on my light-colored carpet!

She was barking at some critter in the front yard and acting fine so I put her in the crate to clean up before it set in and stained. BONUS: gave the blood time to clot.

Finally got it cleaned up and rescued her from the crate - seems she’s ripped a toenail on a back foot slick OUT in her excitement.

Jeez! Never a dull moment.

Oh no!! I guess the good news is that her back is doing fine? yuck!! Sorry about all the blood. :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: Age does NOT seem to be slowing that girl down!!

Oh, no! Bandit did that once years ago. What a mess! I'm glad it wasn't anything worse.
