Red face Bad dog or bad mom you decide

I've been fostering 13 puppies plus the momma dog and getting very little sleep so I was tired and grouchy this morning. The fosters got up at 4:30 am to go outside but my two didn't budge. Then at 6:30 am everyone wanted up and what I though was just to eat. Wrong I made them wait until 7:45 and woke to 3 piles and one wet spot!! :faint: I guess all that licking and bouncing off the sofa (where we're all sleeping until the puppies are gone) was to let me know they needed outside. LESSON LEARNED!! BAD MOMMA !:duh:

That will teach you, better reset their time clocks. My goodness you certainly have your hands full.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
