Default He can use the ramp! -now with pics and videos!

Mark this day in history because an angel has visited the Tenna Loma Hound House. NAPOLEON USES THE RAMP UP TO THE BED NOW!! Granted, you still have to tell him to use it, because he will still walk to the side of the bed and expect to be picked up. But he can actually place all four of his very own feet on the ramp BY HIMSELF and WALK UP the entire thing onto the bed!! WOW! I am amazed. And it only took oh, a year. :whack: :whack: :faint: :faint:

    Congratulations on your persistance!!!

My bed is coming back down off the frame tonight. I gave up. Bailey still tries to be super dog and I'm giving myself migraines yelling, "USE THE RAMP!!!" all the time.

    WAY TO GO, PO!! :cheer2:

!!! What an amazing day!! Were you working on training him or did he just decide to being to obey?

Tasha is so good about her ramp, guess we're lucky. Only if I have food when I 'm sitting on the couch will she sometimes forget...

    - better late than never! Mine are really good about the sofa ramp, but still forget occasionally - or choose to jump off! They don't get in our bed so that high spot isn't a problem, luckily. Hooray for Po!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: And for you, too - saves the lifting. At LEAST he doesn't try to jump off the bed - that is a VERY good thing!

Good job Po! :cheer2:  :cheer2:
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

    Default Pics and videos

Okay I stayed home sick from work today - after sleeping all morning I feel MUCH better, but man last night was rough! Don't know if it was a bug or something I ate but :vomit: !! But anyway I decided to see if I could get Po to climb the ramp on video. The results were mixed....

    Do what now?

You're going to pick me up right?

I will just stand here and look cute.

Or perhaps I look better on the rug?

Nice try mom, I don't think so!

OMdoG that video series was too cute!!! Glad Po dicided to use the ramp on his own, even if he didn't want to cooperate on tape. I need to get a small ramp for my daddy's doxie, Ginger, but he sleeps in my old room which is just so small.....I need to figure out where to put is so he can still manuver and the ramp won't be in the way!!!
