When it comes to cat food, NEVER trust the dog. He may not have stumbled upon it today, but leave it out and he will, and you'll be up all night with a pooping dog.
Good for him being so well behaved. Are he and Darwin up to something?

Do you think that the real medicine in this situation is Paisley? It has gotten past the point probably where it feels for him like she is here to stay. I know having Ollie made Al a different dog - do you think Paisley, even if not the same species is having a similar effect? They interact more and she is the bud he needed to not feel alone?
I agree with Andrea on the cat food - at least put it up a bit higher so Miss P can get it but Mr P can't
I think Paisley is making the difference. Pippit knows that someone else is there with him. And as far as the catfood goes~I have a full length mirror that I put in front of the door(usually)so she can escape from him if needed and he can't get into her food or the litterbox. I just forgot this morning.

Well done Pippit!!! So glad to hear he's doing better and having Paisley home with him helps. You're so lucky you can have multiple pets!
