Default The Ps Buda Race Results!

As y'all (heard that way too much!) heard, Peaches and Piper Man raced in Buda this past weekend. Well, they didn't win, but BOTH made it to 4 out of the 6 rounds of racing. Only 24 dogs made it further than they did so I thought it was pretty good for their first time out! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Based on the number of races, I estimated 600-650 doxies competed.

I was so surprised at Piper Man, he ran so well! :hearts: He was a total underdog and proved he can run with the best of them!

We only got a couple pictures...the crowds were too insane on Sunday to get any pics. This is Peaches in her race on Saturday.

Trying to dig her way out! :D She is in #2.

    Way ahead of the competition!

In her fourth race, she got completely disoriented. She couldn't even find me at the finish line. I think because all of the doxies clumped together and she doesn't really like that. Oh well...there is always next year!

Go, Peaches! Next year, we need to all get t-shirts with Peaches and Piperman on them to show our support. It was so exciting to have 2 DLC doxies get into the semi finals. :hearts:

Congrats! They were just practicing for next year.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Same here, but lets get it in a tan or something so it doesn't show how dirty my dogs are.

Oh, yeah, we definitely need something colored. I had WAY too much trouble trying to keep my white DLC shirts clean this year.
