It was hilarious. DH and daughter and niece were all "are you excited about meeting her" and it was all cool. We've seen pix so much and talked on the phone, and of course the kids...
DH's daughter said after they left "didn't you feel weird sharing lunch with someone you've never even MET"? (we halvsied the broiled platter) and I just laughed. Felt perfectly normal to me!
It was like old home days. Truly the highlight of my entire vacation. Oh, and I'm getting married to JohnJohn, so Carrol will be my mother in law. Don't tell my DH.
