The first of June is the official start of hurricane season. We celebrated it by naming a tropical storm, of course. But....hurray!!!! We finally are getting some nice long, no fire starting rain. You can hear the grass, trees, flowers, etc "singing in the rain".

I was singing and dancing inside my apartment and pretty much doing stuff that nobody else should see (not x-rated)...........My son and his girlfriend were at the back door laughing at me.
    Scared the bejesus outta me.

    Default I've got crabs!

 fiddler crabs that is - thought they were hermit crabs. It must be the season for them. We've got a small opening under our front door (on my to fix list tomorrow) and we've been finding the little suckers in the house. Cricket's managed to snatch two or three and have soft shell crab for bfast. I think they keep coming back in . Little turds.

Geoff just took a huge poop in her box. It is noxious. I hope I don't die from poison inhalation. :vomit:

We met out new canine neighbor. He is an older chi mix (looks like mixed with dachshund!) named Gizmo who REALLLY loves hoomans, and could not give a crap less about other dogs. The neighbor thinks that he will warm up to Bailey, but I know how older dogs feel about those danged pups.

I'll try to get a pic of him for ya.

I found an itty bitty snake yesterday. He was the CRABBIEST snake I ever met and was striking and sitting there with his mouth open as far as it would go..."Stay away!!! I am MEAN!!!" Of course the fact that his mouth was about 1/2 inch wide made him seem a little less than intimidating. Don't know why he was so darn crabby! I told him to stay away from the mower today cuz I gotta mow.

Dexter was barking a 'special' bark tonight so I had to go see what it was. He was protesting/attacking a millipede over 3 inches long and very upset that it was moving in the sunroom. I video taped it, then rescued it with a fly swatter and flung it outside. The rest of the night, Dexter was afraid to approach anything cylindrical shaped on the floor- the teething toy shaped like a key, the stretchy lizard...everything made him jumpy. Too funny to see.
