Talking I went to an agility class!

It was so cool! I say I and not we, because my weens stayed at home. I went with Zandra and got to run Sophia!!! I had a really good time! again Z for taking me with you. The really neat thing is, the agility place is about 5 minutes from our (hopefully) new house! If we get approved for the loan and actually get to move, I SO have to get Julie into an obedience class for agility so I can start taking her. I think she would love it!

I think it would be great for the both of you. It really looks like a lot of fun.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

It's me that owes you a thank you! You helped more than you realize. There was no way I could do stations with both dogs. Also, I was depressed and wanted to just stay home and avoid life. I forced myself to call you and that forced me to go and enjoy myself and the girls. I am glad you enjoyed it. Sophie ran better for you than she does for me! Wanna go back next week and run a real course?

Sounsd like fun!!! And good for you, Zandra, for forcing yourself to go out. I KNOW how hard it can be when you're in the jaws of the black dog...

Good for you for pushing yourself and going, Zandra!
I swear that agility is the ony thing that got me through some really bad times. And cuz once you are there, you gotta force yourself to focus on the dogs and being positive and enthusiastic for them, it really does help. If I was still working (I'm a counselor) I'd be "prescribing" agility for all my dog owning clients I think!!
