This kind of ties in to Fluffy's post. Why do they want to snuggle when it is hot? Sam has to snuggle with my back (great for back pain though). I have the window open and the ceiling fan blasting because it is HOT. In the morning when I wake up I turn the fan off. Sam wakes up and get under the covers. Silly dogs...

WHY? Do they have to sniff the sweepings before you are allowed to put them in the dust pan?

Chew on their feet at 5am, shaking the bed and making me think from my slumber that we are having an earthquake, from which I wake with a panic attack?

Why OH Why do they have to shake themselves head to foot every morning before getting out of bed??
I end up getting smacked and whipped with ears and tails as my "Good morning, Mutter"!!!

plus when Sam yawns first thing in the morning, he adds a little scream with it. It used to scare me, but now I just laugh at him. Issy doesn't shake or yawn, yet...

After reading all of the above replies I am cracking up here at work because my doxie is guilty of all of the above! It's so funny how these little guys are alike in so many ways!

Why can you "not hear mommy" when she can't find you (under the bed...) and she calls and calls and calls but if mommy opens a ziplock bag ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE you can supersonically hear it and assume it is cheese... for you?

Why must you suffer from SA and destroy the bedroom door frame and act like sleeping on the big bed all day is torture but when we're home all you want to do it nap with me on the big bed in the same bedroom???

Oh Dachsie - why must you jump into the shower right after me to slurp my soapy water? Why?!
