 Napoleon, you do have quite an attitude!!! You shouldn't be mad at your Mommy because I saw that turkey she fed you. If my dogs ever got a turkey (or a raw diet in general) I can guarantee they'd probably never get angry with me!

That is quite the life 'Po has! I would love to stay under a blankie with a snuggle safe and sleep for 6 hours.

Where did you get the snuggle safe? Is it expensive?

SnuggleSafe is a microwaveable heating pad for animals. I do believe that Prickles has one!!!

That is a warm-weather dog for sure. Tristan was like that too; he really liked to be HOT.

Nail trims - blah. Angel has started trimming her own with her teeth; I am pretty sure that's not a real good idea, but she is doing it when we're not around to stop her.

    Poor Po!

We have the heating disc too. I am not sure whether Gigi love it or not, you know it's SOLID hard... so I figure it's not that comfortable to lay on something that hard... but it also keep you warm. Anyway, sometimes I use the disc, other times I gave Gigi THREE blankies. haha.

Tasha has two blankies but I might try the disc. Our heat tends to either be over the top or non-existant (steam heat, at the mercy of the landlord). I bought a small stuffed bear full of rice that you heat in the microwave, but it kind of smells like food....

    Courtney.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

That's interesting! Let me ask a perhaps stupid question...would it be bad to use one of those in a crate? Miss Priss gets SO COLD. I put her crate as close to the heater as I can but I'm so afraid of a stray spark or something!! That would be a great thing for her for in the winter when I'm at work!

No they are designed for that...just make sure you put it under the crate pad or something. It should always be covered or wrapped in something because it is HOT on its own. I leave mine in a pillowcase on the dog bed in the kitchen.
