Default dog- why are there sooo many idiots?

da brat and I go to petsmart. Pick up birthday toy for one of da kitties. Run into guy outside with a beeyoouuteeful lil red 8 week old baby boy. Being Mama, I stop and chat - once he discovers that I know something about weiner dogs he just has to ask the dreaded question -
"Know where I can get a female to breed him with???" AND THEN without letting me answer -"He's a standard but I want to get tiny puppies so I want to breed him with a mini":mad4: :mad4:
I just couldn't help myself this time. Normally I'm a bit more nice but I had to.
"Sure, find a mini- breed a 28 pound male to a 9 pound female - then watch her DIE." Wish I could have caught the look on camera. Maybe I should use the shock method more often. I then told him to do his new baby a favor. Got to petfinder - see how many doxies are in rescue then go straight to vet and fix him. Let us all  that he listens.

Oh, Mama! You are soooo good at that.  I hate having to go through the same c$%p over and over again. Don't these people ever pay attention to what is going on around them? There was a guy online the other day talking about breeding his golden 'because it's good money'. :mad4: I wanted to say 'why not just sell your kids, guy?'

Not to mention if your area is anything like ours, you can't GIVE away a golden (or a lab) cuz everyone and their brother and THEIR brother already has one and there are thousands and thousands in rescue thanks to people like him.

    Way to go Sandi!!

But, maybe you scared the cr** out of him and he'll neuter his dog. Lets hope so.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

You want stupid? It's not dog related, but really stupid people: A black woman came in the Nail Salon at Wal Mart with her what may have been her grand daughter, the whole family was there. She's probably 10. This woman had a "do" going on that would scare felons. The top part of her head was done in Prison Jumpsuit Orange. :wtf: Who told her that Day Glo Orange was a good hair color? Awful. The little girl? Getting tips put on her nails. Who puts tips on a 10 year old? Oh wait, a woman with Prison Orange Hair fashioned into a poorly made birdnest on top of her head, that's who.
