Well before I tell you let me set the background. Sometimes my foster boys (Frankie and Flash) don't like to go outside mainly went it's dark. So I've been taking a treat out and standing there showing it to them so they'll come out the door. Soooooooooo Mitzi see's this and what does she do? She goes to the door rings the bell then looks up at the treats. She won't go outside, doesn't want to in fact. She just wants a treat to go out there too. Silly, but smart huh?

Good girl Mitzi.
These little guys never cease to amaze me, they are SO smart. 
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

:heartbt: Very smart indeed!! Not that I would actually do this, but it would be tempting to toss the treat outside in a game of "Go Get It!" :rofl:
We play "come-sit-stay-Go Get It" inside for extra exercise. Scent hounds are usually pretty good at it, and it's a fun game to bust winter blahs. I don't think it would work well for housebreaking! :DAdopt a Senior!

She's definitely striving to get you trained!
This is such a hard time of the year for the pups. Poor Tasha only gets daylight walkies in the morning. By the time I'm home from work its dark. She does take advantage of that to try to sneak more food off of the sidewalks since I have a harder time seeing it in the dark.
