Doggy Hiccups

Does anyone else have a pup that seems to get hiccups frequently? Braydi gets the hiccups two or three times a week and they don't always come on after she has eaten. She has a vet appointment tomorrow and we are going to ask the vet about it, but I didn't know if anyone else has this experience.

I can't remember frequent hiccups, but when ever one does, it cracks me up and I laugh at them...same thing when they burp too. :duh: I think I usually will hold them like a baby and pat their back till they burp. It's been a long time since any of the puppers had to have that.

Whew...glad I'm not the only one who laughs when they burp. Bayley burps like a little old lady and it never ceases to make me giggle like a school girl! David says I shouldn't worry about the hiccups and that she has probably gotten into the liquor cabinet. He thinks he is so funny.

Teddy has had the hiccups quite often since I've adopted him. They don't come on after anything particular like eating, or drinking after playing, or such. They just seem to randomly happen and they don't really bother him; but we laugh cuz his head kinda jumps up a bit, it's funny to watch; but they are harmless.

Jack gets them on occasion - just randomly. I don't worry about them.
