They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

I knew about the whole Ron Mexico thing, and have known he was a dirt bag for a while. Well written article, worth the read, and if I haven't said it before, DIAF Vick, you filthy jerk.
Terrific article. He's been a b#$*()*d for years. I have a friend who knew him during his VA Tech days (well, as much as you know someone from parties and such) who had always said he was a huge prick. As my mother says, "an eye for an eye..." Perhaps someone will hold Michael Vick's head under water in a mop bucket in prison...or better yet, rip him to shreds.

My fav part is :
While the guilty plea will cost Vick his freedom for a to-be-determined length of time, it has liberated those of us writing about the case from the annoying and clunky and increasingly insulting use of "allegedly."
The cleat fit - let him wear it - for a very long time.

Since I'm not into football, I had no idea what a scum bag he really is.
I too hope he DIAF or drowns in a bucket, just so long as he's gone from this earth!!!
