We buy Chewmasters Chicken Strips which are also made in China... but I haven't seen any recalls on them.

Great info! I have had to stop feeding Tasha freeze fried chicken breast as the only ones I can find here are made in China. Between bird flu and chemicals, no way!

My rule of thumb...if they sell it at WALMART or the market...I can eat it but my dogs can't ...
And absolutly nothing that comes from another country...
We too stopped the chicken jerky about 8 mths ago when I noticed it was from China....

I haven't received an FDA recall on it yet, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
I'm with you Jen, I would forget anything made in China.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

I don't think it would be too difficult to make your own chicken jerky!!

I've never given chicken jerky to my dogs. The kind I find in the Pet Dept at Walmart just looks to stiff. I don't like the look of it. My kids just stick to Chew-eez and rawhides.
