After fighting so hard to hang on, this morning I saw it in his eyes, and knew that it was time to help him go. He had a very bad night, threw up the food he'd eaten, and he could wag no more. His body was so limp, and he was suffering. I couldn't watch him struggle like this any longer, so I took him in.
