Real cookies, with real calories and real fat. I couldn't eat them anyway, we did "heavy weightlifting" today and I can't raise my arms to my mouth to eat anymore.

Otto is home safe and sound, and we used up our credit so it didn't cost us anything. He's getting scrambled eggs tonight:hearts:

I don't think he can get dry sockets. The vet closed up the hole with some fancy mesh used for hernias and it dissolves over time as the skin from the gum grows over it. He's got a flap of gum skin sewn over it, it needed something to anchor to. He gets no cookies tonight, and maybe for a while so he could lose about 5lbs.

Man, that's a hard way to lose weight - but it works! I lost 5# after I had oral surgery. Poor guy - sending more ! And a few $$$ for Andrea, too.

    More speedy recovery for Otto.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
