Just returned... Thank Goodness it wasn't too eventful this time.
Jen was in the house...Cami didn't notice and Carlee ran in circles, but didn't bark :duh:
So I took pictures
It has to be the same one....cuz it was pretty BIG about 10 to 12 lbs

UGH! I HATE THEM!! I hate possums with the fire of a thousand suns. HATE THE NASTY HISSING THINGS!
:awww: I think he's cute! Ever since I saw a really fat, clean, cross-eyed one on tv I've thought possums were/are cute.

OK Shonda...I'lll catch it and send it your way for X-mas :hearts:
Why are they nasty? Cats hiss... doesn't make 'em nasty...
They don't stink... they don't bother anybody... I think they're interesting and cute. But then, I think rats are cute and I know they're not everyone's cuppa tea.
I'll tell ya what's NASTY... Racoons and skunks!! Racoons will eat baby rabbits right out of their burrow and skunks just make everyone miserable with their STANK!

They actually do carry a lot of disease....and I don't want my dogs to tangle w/ them
MICHELE You are a backwoods girl ....? Well that explains things :duh:
We have opossums, raccoons, skunks and deer. I think the little critters are great and I love seeing their babies. Is there food in or around your yard, that's usually what they are looking for. He or she will probably move on in the next few days.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
