I can't believe I have to write this. Brooklyn, the most beloved big dog I've ever met, died today. She was hit by a car in an accident after a bath at the pet supply store where Amy works. Amy is devastated and I am heartbroken as well. I feel like one of my best friends has died. Napoleon's big sister is looking out for us from above now. Sleep well my big girl. I will miss you forever and I will NEVER forget you. You were my inspiration to get started in rescue and I love you so much.

I'm so sorry, Courtney! I remember how much we enjoyed the Brooklyn and Po pictures. She was such a beautiful girl, and sounded like such a sweetheart.

Oh my God! NOOOO! Courtney I am so so so sorry. My deepest condolences to Amy, you and Adam. This is so heartbreaking. Poor Amy. Brooklyn will always be our biggest Doxie. RIP sweet beautiful girl.
