    Talking What Do you do???.........

What do you do when you REALLY don't want to get in there & scrub down the bathroom?? Well, you get out of the house & take your weiner hound to the park for as long as possible & then when you get home you log onto DLC & go to the Joke of the Day & spend lots and lots of time learning the song "IF My Nose Was Running Money!!"

I just shut the door and don't acknowledge the existence of that bathroom until absolutely necessary. That's why there are 2 bathrooms in my house.

Well, unfortunately, I got the WORD from DH this morning.... he said "since you have the day off I think you need to get the b'room done"aaarrrrrgghhhh!! I can't say too much because he's 67 yrs. old & works 7 days a week; we also have 2 b'rooms but the other one is in basement & that's DH's territory; I never go down there except to do laundry. He cleans that one!!I'm doing it in spurts...I scrubbed down all the tile & now i'm taking a 10 min. break before I do the tub & basin.....should have it done by the time he gets home at 6:00 tonite!!!Shameful thing is....it's a TINY little b'room! No excuse for such procrastination!!!

Dreaded household chores: (1) doing dishes; and (2) cleaning the bathrooms. IMO, if someone is THAT upset with a bathroom, someone should clean it himself!!!

Ugh...I hate cleaning the bathroom so I can feel your pain. DH and I compromise...he cleans the bathroom and I clean our bedroom (which is another nightmare due to a small closet and an over abundance of clothing that I can't bring myself to get rid of).

Hey Bsquared! I know the feeling! We bought this house 5 yrs. ago & thanks to my NOT being observant.... there is literally almost NO storage space! The closets are not big enough & there's only a small linen closet in the hall. I have spent 5 yrs. trying to figure out how to conveniently store all our STUFF! It usually ends up in plastic storage bins in the garage or basement!!

Yeah, we have the same problem - we live in a modular home, and although it's really COOL, it has virtually NO closet space - I use the attic and storage bins a LOT!! Our garage is pretty crammed full, too.

Whew! So glad I'm not the only one. I totally overlooked the small closets when we bought this house. I have clothes in baskets and bins in the bedroom, basement and guest room. And I still complain that I have nothing to wear. And poor David has one small closet in the third bedroom...but that's all he needs. heeeeheee!

I'm anal about my bathrooms - pun intended.

    Laundry is my enemy
