Default The Power of Peen!!!!!!!!! Video link added! Post 5

Welp Owen is now a CPE Agility Trial Champion!!!! I could not be prouder...
his finishing Standard run was just wonderful. PERFECT. And it was not an easy course...When the judge (who we know well) heard from our friend Becky that it was possibly Owey's C-ATCH run she said O NO...I'm sorry..because it was a difficult and tricky course. I'll post the course map which prob. won't mean much unless you do agility but there are two tricky obstacle discriminations (at #4 and 13) and also a turn and hard entry to the weaves at 3..and a pull off of the a-frame to weaves at 12 and then the whole 14-15 thing is a little strange too...
ANYWAY-he was awesome. His other Standard runs Friday were great too. I wasn't even really THAT nervous He qualified everything this weekend except a really hard jackpot (gamble) and he ran fast and happy. All the dogs did great. But maybe I should put them in another post.
The video is hard to see cuz my friend took it just with my regular camera so he's just a tiny dot. I can see we were being careful when I watch it!! Going for the "Q" not speed The funny thing was, our friend Beamer (red LH doxie) got SO excited by the cheering for Owen and the fact that Owen and I did a victory lap when it was HIS TURN NEXT that he ran faster than he ever had in his life and beat Owen's time!!! So Owey's C-ATCH Standard was a second place run -Beamer beat him by 3 seconds!!! And Beam's legs are like 2 inches long His mommy was happy too
YAY Owen...from little wimpy rescue boy to Champion. Gosh I remember thinking well he won't do well at agility but we'll try it...it'll be good for his confidence...He's been trialing about a year and a half!
What a wonderful boy he is!! YAY OWEN!!!!
video is still uploading but I'll put in the pics.

That is fantastic!! GO OWEN!!! We are so proud of you and your mama!!

I know nothing about Agility except what I've seen on TV or read in your posts, but I could understand what you were saying about the course being tricky when I looked at the diagram. Crazy!

I love the pictures of the Champion :hearts:. He is so handsome!!:angel7:

Yeah it really was. I laughed at the video though cuz I thought I was really calm...and I am being SOOOO careful...right up until the second set of weaves then I'm like OK!!! And speed up a lot But what the heck..we were still under time and it was perfect
