My First Love
Tina was my very first dachshund. She was a present from my late husband in 1985. Funny she loved me very much until Max became ill and then she never left his side except when he was hospitalized. The day Max died she jumped up on the bed settling on his pillow and for one full year that was her spot. Oh yes, I could get in bed but never near that pillow.
Tina was such a joy her entire life. A tiny little girl (long and skinny) when she was young she would sleep in out slippers. Being the typical doxie she sure was a handful. Spoiled rotten and she knew it.
I lost her in Nov of 2001 to old age. She was 16. Tina was the start of my love for this wonderful breed :hearts: :hearts:
This was taken a few days before I lost her.
