Sending tons of our Magical DLC to Prickles
I hope that it is nothing serious!
Mega DLC magical and positive thoughts for Prickles. I hope she is okay.
When my  Jenny had a stroke she walked in circles. I don't know if it would be the same for Hedgies.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

I am a mess. I've started crying and now I can't stop.
The vet called me to get authorization to treat her since she was transferred from the Emergency place to the exotic vet place. I've had less than 1 hour of sleep and they just really rubbed me the wrong way. I guess they didn't get the full story on why she was there. They thought she was brought in simply for diahrea. They kept asking me why did you bring her in. Why did you bring her in? I just got really emotional because they were talking about keeping her all weekend and I was thinking the worst things, but they haven't even done any tests on her, so why would they be talking about keeping her all weekend when they don't even know what is wrong. I got upset, but I have called back after talking to John and calming down. I explained the situation and everything I noticed last night. They are going to do some tests and call me back. I've been holding back the tears because I don't want to think about the worst, but 6 is old for a hedgie and I can't help thinking it now. I just want to know what's wrong with her without getting attitude from a vet tech. Don't tell me you are keeping her all weekend when you haven't done anything with her yet. Ugh! Sorry for this big long vent but I am just really upset.
Plus I am really congested and now I can't breathe.
