Default Bailey and Reese hate Santa

:santa3:They wouldn't even take CHEESE from Santa. :conf2:It was a HUGE production getting their photo taken, I was so embarassed, I thought they were going to throw us out. :angel4:

Don't feel bad!! Both of mine hate Santa too...Pogo is skittish on the best of days, big guy, weird beard, I image smells a little funny too (don't know how often the Santa suits gets cleaned!!), it's totally understandable.

But, if you did get a picture, are we going to get to see it??

I've never even try with Tasha. She'd just bark uncontrollably at him, I know it!

You are brave to even try that. Angel would get nervous, and Cassie would lick him to death so we'd get thrown out anyway.

I think Bailey and Reese know their presents don't come from the big guy in the red suit at the mall, anyway... they come from Santa MOM, so might as well save the lickies for her :D !!

Sorry to hear it was an unpleasant trip, better luck next time.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

I think I'm going to try taking some of mine this year. Probably Miller, Cash and Bogart. They'll be okay. Sweetums would try to bite him when he held her and Scooter would be terrified and probably bark at him. The other 3 will just look annoyed, but put up with it.

I took Weenie and Cricket last year. They barked alot at first but settled down pretty quickly and Cricket was giving Santa some of her uncontrolable kisses!

I took Buddy and Heidi last year, I believe...oh my was that a mess!! Buddy was just fine, excpet for trying to lift his leg on the poor guy...Heidi however wouldn't have it. She barked and growled, her hackels were even standing on end!! Poor kids standing in line thought she was such a "nice dog"...til she got a look at Santa!! Andrew had to take her out to the car til I got the picture of Buddy. After all the headache, the stupid film lab lost my film...I might take Buddy again this year, but Heidi will NEVER see Santa again!

Bella loved Santa, but I think it's because he had treats next to him!
