I guess his new name is, The Amazing Mr. Butters.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

I give up trying to play! I throw the ball - Sam runs to get it - Shadow steals it - Oscar decides he wants it. Sam gets it back. THen nobody wants to play anymore
So - at least Butters is playing!! I love that he cleans up after himself!! Teach mine!!

Maybe I should send my girls to spend a week with Mr Butters so they can learn that trick! They've mastered the art of dumping the basket of toys out and spreading the toys all over the house, but putting them back?
