Default Dog-lish as a second language

I just signed myself up for this seminar. Not that we are having issues with the boys, but I just thought it would be fun/interesting to go to, and it's only $20.

    Dog-lish as a Second Language

They bark, you yell and everyone gets frustrated. When it comes to communicating, it often seems that humans are from Earth and dogs are from Pluto. But understanding how dogs communicate is the first step to deepening the bond between you and your pet. Explore how body language, calming signals, and touching techniques can strengthen, or save your relationship with your dog. Learn how to incorporate simple verbal and non-verbal communications techniques into your daily interactions with your best friend. 1night/1.5 hours

Sounds like an excellent class, wish they had one around here.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
