Default Bailey and Reese have been picky lately...

I am not sure what's going on. As you know, I feed the NV raw medallions. In the morning, I add a spoonful of something. In the rotation is: FF cottage cheese, FF plain yogurt and pumpkin. Typically the cottage cheese and the pumpkin are the favorites, and both Bailey and Reese take a while to finish the yogurt. Well, they've completely turned their noses up at the pumpkin and the yogurt now. They are also eating a bit slower then usual. Everything else is fine. Activity level, water intake etc.

I was thinking about maybe switching to the NV grain free kibble to switch it up and see how that goes.

    Thoughts?

I think they would rather have RAT now that they've seen and smelled them.

Other then that no real suggestion. Sorry.

Hmm. I'd add something stinky. Canned fish, organ meat? Or just let them go hungry if they don't eat - then I bet they will not be so picky!

I do use the 15 minute rule. If they don't eat it, then too bad so sad. I mean they are eating their meats but the add-ins are being left behind. I just thought it was strange the both of them were acting like this.

They are certainly not starving, that's for sure!

Oh, got it. That's weird then! Maybe they just don't want it anymore. I've read, though I really have no idea, that dogs are lactose intolerant, so perhaps it doesn't agree with them and they know it?

Oh, also, maybe since it's hotter, they don't want to eat as much and are just taking what they like best?

Maybe they got together and decided they were tired of the add-ins. Or just want to give mom a bad time and make her worry. I hope you figure it out soon.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

They both ate their cottage cheese this morning.

    Oh well. Freaks.

I agree that some nice packed in water sardines might be a good idea. Or a little cheese.

and I think you might want to get a bag of the mouse pogos for your earth dogs!
