Oh tonya, there are truly no words...her little sad face says it all. I fellin love with it when I opened the first thread. My heart aches for you, and her, and the good life she never got to live. At least she died knowing love and being cared for. Godspeed, little girl.

Stunned and sad for another tragic loss of a maltreated dog who should have had a better life through our rescue . Her former guardians are to blame, not you. You gave her excellent days with shelter, food, and love.
    YOU did everything right!

I am so sorry. A is lit in CA RIP little one.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

oh Tonya. How completely devastating. That just hurts.

She will remember your kindness and the feel of your arms around her and will be waiting at the Bridge.

OMG, I am so sorry, Tonya. Sweet little mama dog knew she was in a loving place when she crossed over.

Thank you guys. I just buried her. She's right next to Trooper. Maybe he met her at the gate with her first baby that died and they are both showing her the ropes. Sweet little girl...
