    Default Michele

    I can't even....I just don't know...
When I came home yesterday, I'd seen that someone had thrown up copious amounts of slimy water. I cleaned it up, thinking it was Pearl. By the time I'd figured it out it was Michele, it was late and I'd planned on taking her to the vet in the AM. She'd thrown up once on Monday, ate her supper and was fine.
A bit lethargic on Tuesday and she skipped her breakfast and supper. She's had a sour tummy before, I didn't panic.
    I should have.
I found her body, cold and stilff in a puddle of bloody vomit.
She must've had an obsruction. It took less that 24 hours to kill her.
I didn't think I needed to panic. I was going to take her to the vet today.
My little Michele is just gone. I don't know how it happened so fast.

What you guys had said about Snooter made me decide to take her in first thing this AM. I didn't know that wasn't soon enough. I just didn't know.

It does happen really fast and there isn't always anything you can do about it.
I've just been paranoid about bloat cuz an agility friend lost a (young) dog too it a couple of weeks ago. Bounce was a little under the weather when they went to work, when they got home she was was near death and passed on the way to the vet. It happens.... we can't watch them every minute and it's so hard to tell.
And we don't know for sure that is what it was..maybe there was something wrong that nobody knew...
Poor sweet girl. She was a lovely little dog and I know this leaves a big hole in your heart.

Andrea I'm so sorry! Of course you didn't know, and you had the best of intentions! They must have needed her at the bridge in a hurry and you don't have control over things like that.

OMG I am so sorry, Andrea :sad2:

You couldn't have known or predicted this.

for you, little tiny furry girl. Look down at your mom sometimes from the Bridge and send her extra love - she's going to be sad without you.
